The SMOK Solus G Box Vape Kit has a built-in 700mAh battery, allowing for extended vaping sessions without frequent recharges. This battery capacity is sufficient for most users to deliver an all-day vaping experience. The device utilises a USB-C charging port for quick and convenient recharging. A full charge can be achieved in approximately 30 minutes using the USB-C cable.

The Solus G Box features an intelligent lighting system to indicate the remaining battery life. The LEDs illuminate in different colours depending on the charge level:

• Red light: Battery power is below 30%
• Blue light: Battery power is between 30% and 70%
• Green light: Battery power is above 70%

The device incorporates safety features like overcharge and over-discharge protection, ensuring the battery's longevity and safe operation. It has a maximum charging current of 0.77A and a standby current of less than 50uA, contributing to its power efficiency. The Solus G Box operates within an input voltage range of 3.3V to 4.2V, delivering a maximum power output of 18W.

Power Button

The SMOK Solus G Box Vape Kit features a small, multi-functional button that enhances user control over the device. This button is not the primary firing mechanism as the device is inhale-activated. Instead, the button serves the following purposes:

• Power On/Off: The button can be used to turn the device on and off. This provides a manual control option in addition to the automatic inhale activation.
• Adjusting RGB LED Light Settings: The button enables users to switch between the 5 available lighting effects. Double-clicking the button allows users to cycle through the various lighting options, adding a level of personalisation to the vaping experience.

Lighting Effects

The SMOK Solus G Box Vape Kit allows you to personalise your vaping experience with 5 unique lighting effects. These effects can be switched by double-clicking the power button. You can choose from the following options to add a touch of visual flair to your vaping:

• While light keeps on: This effect keeps the LED light on continuously, providing a constant glow.
• While light breathing: This effect creates a gentle pulsing of the LED light, simulating a breathing pattern.
• While light flickering: This effect produces a rapid flashing or flickering of the LED light.
• RGB light displaying three colours simultaneously: This effect showcases a vibrant display of three different colours at the same time, likely cycling or blending between them.
• No lighting: This option turns off the LED lights completely for those who prefer a minimalist look.

Air Inlet

The Kit features a dual airflow system that allows users to customise their vaping experience by choosing between MTL (Mouth-to-lung) and RDL (Restricted direct-to-lung) vaping styles. This flexibility is achieved by simply flipping the pod 180 degrees within the device.

The air inlet is strategically positioned to accommodate both MTL and RDL vaping preferences.

MTL vaping is characterised by a tighter draw, similar to a traditional cigarette, and produces a smaller amount of vapour. It's ideal for users who prioritise flavour intensity and a discreet vaping experience. RDL vaping, on the other hand, offers a slightly looser draw and generates larger vapour clouds. It's suitable for users who prefer a more intense cloud production and a direct lung inhale.

Pod Capacity

The G Box Vape Kit is designed to use refillable pods that can hold up to 2ml/ 2.5ml of e-liquid or nicotine salt. This pod capacity is consistent with the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) regulations in many regions, which limits the maximum e-liquid capacity for refillable pods to 2ml/ 2.5ml.

The pods are easy to refill and feature a rubber stopper on the side that can be removed to access the e-liquid port. The 0.9-ohm mesh coil integrated into the pod ensures efficient heating and flavour production. Once the coil reaches the end of its lifespan, the entire pod is replaced, eliminating the need for messy coil replacements.

Solus / Solus 2 Pods Compatible

The Vape Kit is compatible with both SMOK Solus and Solus 2 Pods. This compatibility provides flexibility and a wider range of options when choosing their preferred pods.

The device comes standard with a Solus 2 pod that features a built-in 0.9-ohm mesh coil. You can also use the original SMOK Solus Pods with the device. Both pod types are refillable and have a 2ml/ 2.5ml e-liquid capacity.

The compatibility with both Solus and Solus 2 pods ensures that users can continue to use their preferred pods, even when upgrading to the Solus G Box.
